Advantages
True Multi-Surface Compatibility
A single formulation that delivers consistent, complementary shine across painted bodywork, unpainted plastic trim, vinyl surfaces, and rubber components — eliminating the need for separate shine products for each surface type on the vehicle.
Deep, Even Shine on Paint
Enhances the depth, gloss, and colour richness of painted surfaces — amplifying the clean finish achieved after washing and providing a uniform gloss that elevates the vehicle's overall appearance.
Restores Plastic & Rubber Appearance
Reverses the chalky, faded, greyed-out appearance of UV-affected plastic trim panels and dried rubber components — restoring the rich, dark finish that gives the vehicle a well-maintained, cared-for look.
Quick-Dry Formula
Dries rapidly after application — no extended waiting, no greasy residue, no transfer onto seating surfaces or clothing. Vehicle is ready for use within minutes of application.
Protective Shine Layer
Forms a light protective film on treated surfaces that enhances shine durability and provides a degree of resistance against dust re-adhesion, light moisture, and environmental contamination between washes.
Clean, Residue-Free Finish
Spreads evenly and buffs to a clean finish with a sponge — no streaking, no product build-up, and no uneven gloss patches across surface transitions.
How to Use
Multi Shine must only be applied to a completely clean and dry vehicle surface. Application on dirty or damp surfaces will trap contaminants beneath the shine layer and produce an uneven, streaked result.
1. Park the motor vehicle in a shaded area — away from direct sunlight. Heat and direct sun cause the product to dry too quickly, preventing even spread and potentially causing streaking.
2. Ensure the vehicle is completely clean and dry before application. For best results, wash the vehicle with Soltek Kleen Shampoo and dry thoroughly with a clean microfibre cloth before applying Multi Shine.
3. Shake the Multi Shine bottle well before use.
4. Spray Multi Shine evenly across the target surface — work one panel or section at a time rather than spraying the entire vehicle at once. This prevents the product from drying before it can be spread and buffed evenly.
5. Spread the product evenly using a clean, dry foam sponge in smooth, overlapping strokes — ensuring full surface coverage with no dry patches or product pooling.
6. If excess product is applied, wipe off immediately with a clean microfibre cloth before it dries — excess product left to dry creates uneven shine patches and streaking.
7. Buff gently with the sponge or a clean microfibre cloth to enhance shine depth and ensure an even, consistent finish across the surface.
8. Allow 3–5 minutes for the product to dry and the shine layer to fully bond before exposing the vehicle to dust, water, or handling.
9. Repeat across remaining panels — working systematically from the roof downward for a consistent full-vehicle finish.
10. Pro Tip: For plastic trim panels that are heavily faded from UV exposure, apply a second coat of Multi Shine after the first has dried — the additional layer builds shine depth progressively and delivers a noticeably richer, darker finish on oxidised plastic surfaces.
FAQ
Q: Can Multi Shine be used on car paint without causing damage?
No. Soltek Multi Shine can be only used for Motorbike and Scooter. It can be applied on rubber parts & plastic parts of the car.
Q: Is Multi Shine suitable for faded plastic trim?
Yes. Multi Shine is effective on UV-faded and oxidised plastic trim — restoring a darker, richer appearance to plastic cladding, door handles, mirror housings, and unpainted bumpers. For heavily faded trim, a second coat applied after the first has dried delivers progressively deeper restoration.
Q: Can Multi Shine be applied on wet or damp surfaces?
No. Multi Shine must only be applied to a completely clean and dry surface. Application on damp or wet surfaces prevents proper bonding, causes streaking, and traps moisture beneath the shine layer — resulting in an uneven, patchy finish.
Q: Does Multi Shine protect against UV damage?
Multi Shine forms a protective shine layer that provides a degree of resistance against environmental contamination and light moisture. For dedicated long-term UV protection on plastic and rubber surfaces, periodic reapplication of Multi Shine combined with regular washing with Kleen Shampoo maintains surface condition and appearance.
Q: How is Multi Shine different from Cockpit Shine?
Soltek Cockpit Shine is formulated specifically for car interior surfaces — dashboards, door trims, and interior upholstery. Multi Shine is formulated for exterior vehicle surfaces — painted bodywork, exterior plastic trim, vinyl, and rubber. While both deliver shine and surface conditioning, they are optimised for the different material and environmental conditions of interior versus exterior surfaces respectively.
Q: How often should Multi Shine be applied?
For best results, apply Multi Shine as the finishing step after every vehicle wash. At minimum, regular application every 2–4 weeks maintains the shine layer and keeps exterior surfaces — particularly plastic trim and rubber components — looking well-maintained between deeper cleaning sessions.
