Advantages

Instant Shine on Application
Delivers a visible, uniform shine immediately on contact — no buffing cycles, no extended drying, no additional finishing steps required.
Broad Multi-Surface Compatibility
Formulated to perform consistently across the full range of car interior materials — hard plastics, ABS dashboards, vinyl trims, leather seats, faux leather upholstery, and rubber door seals and gaskets. One product for the entire cabin.
Durable, Long-Lasting Finish
Unlike quick-wipe sprays that fade within days, Cockpit Shine deposits a protective shine layer that holds its appearance through heat, humidity, and regular use — reducing the frequency of reapplication.
Feel-Good Freshness
Leaves a clean, pleasant fragrance in the cabin post-application — complementing the visual result with a sensory finish that makes the interior feel genuinely renewed, not just wiped down.
Clean, Residue-Free Formula
Spreads evenly with a sponge applicator and wipes off cleanly — leaving no greasy film, no sticky residue, and no transfer onto clothing or seat occupants.

How to Use

For best results, always apply to a clean, dry surface. Pair with a quality microfibre sponge for an even, professional finish.

1. Ensure the target surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grime, or any existing product residue. Wipe down with a dry cloth if needed before application.
2. Shake the Cockpit Shine bottle well before use.
3. Spray Cockpit Shine directly onto the surface or onto a clean foam sponge — spraying onto the sponge gives more controlled coverage on smaller or detailed surfaces.
4. Spread the product evenly across the surface using the sponge in smooth, overlapping strokes — ensuring full, uniform coverage.
5. Wipe off any excess product with a clean, dry microfibre cloth to prevent pooling or uneven shine patches.
6. Allow 3–5 minutes for the product to dry and the shine layer to set fully.
7. For heavily faded or porous surfaces, a second coat may be applied after the first has dried for deeper shine and longer durability.
8. Pro Tip: Apply Cockpit Shine on door trims and the dashboard before delivery of a serviced vehicle — the freshness and shine create a strong, immediate impression on the customer at handover.

FAQ

Q: Which surfaces is Cockpit Shine safe to use on?
Soltek Cockpit Shine is safe for use on plastic, ABS dashboards, vinyl trims, door panels, leather seats, faux leather upholstery, and rubber seals. It is not recommended for polyamide (nylon) upholstery surfaces.

Q: Will Cockpit Shine leave a greasy or slippery residue on the dashboard?
No. Cockpit Shine is formulated to spread evenly and dry to a clean, non-greasy finish. Any excess product wiped off with a microfibre cloth leaves a smooth, dry shine without tackiness or slipperiness.

Q: Can I use Cockpit Shine on leather car seats?
Yes. Cockpit Shine is compatible with both genuine leather and faux leather seat surfaces, delivering shine and surface conditioning. For heavily cracked or dried leather, a dedicated leather conditioner treatment is recommended before or after application.

Q: How long does the shine last after applying Cockpit Shine?
Under normal use conditions, Cockpit Shine delivers a durable finish that holds for several weeks. In high-heat environments or vehicles with frequent passenger use, reapplication every 3–4 weeks maintains the appearance.

Q: Can Cockpit Shine be used on rubber door seals?
Yes. Cockpit Shine is compatible with rubber surfaces including door seals and gaskets — conditioning the rubber and restoring its appearance while helping prevent drying and cracking over time.

Q: Is Cockpit Shine safe to use near the steering wheel and gear knob?
Yes, but apply carefully. Ensure any product applied near the steering wheel, gear knob, or brake lever is fully dried and excess is wiped off before driving — to maintain grip on control surfaces.
